People often say, “Life sucks!” Frankly, this is a terrible affirmation because it isn’t true! It’s never life that sucks; it’s only your thinking that makes it look that way. When you alter your thinking, everything in your life changes. You’ll be amazed at how different your experience of people, places, and circumstances becomes.
Holding on to Negativity is a Waste of Energy
Think about this for a moment: how much time do you waste arguing for your limitations, poor relationships, problems, and poverty? It’s time to step up and start taking responsibility for your life. Playing the blame game will keep you spinning your wheels and going nowhere!
Everything is energy, and like attracts like. If you’re moping around being negative, you’ll draw more negativity to you. But if you’re positive, you’ll draw more positivity in. What you see in your mind creates your feelings and experience of the world 100% of the time. Your experience is never coming from the outside-in; it is always created from the inside-out.

If you want a more joyful and fulfilling life, you can have it right now, this very second! You’ve always had everything you need to make this happen. The only thing stopping you is the belief that it’s not possible.
Your beliefs are merely conditioned patterns and behaviors you learned as a child. Some work well for you, while others limit your ability to create the things you want. What you want and what you believe you deserve might be two different things.
Pay Attention to Your Thoughts
Thoughts are slippery little suckers that can be hard to get a hold of. But when you consciously pay attention to them, you’ll understand the power of the thought/feeling connection. This isn’t about making yourself wrong for the thoughts that come in. It’s about observing your thinking with curiosity, tuning into how your thoughts make you feel, and deciding whether to hang on to them or let them go.

None of this is about giving yourself a hard time for the way you’ve been thinking and behaving. Psychology is only just realizing that our thoughts create our experiences.
